Welcome to the Arizona Child Care Electronic System (CCES)!
Welcome New Provider! The CCES will provide DES contracted child care providers the ability to collect sign-in and sign-out records from caregivers, parents, and, guardians, and submit billing to DES through a fully automated process.
This page will provide an introduction of how the new system works, guide you through the registration process, and demonstrate how to help set up your sponsors to record attendance.
To begin, follow the quick and easy steps below in order:

After you sign your participation agreement, DES will send you the verification information needed to register your KinderConnect account3. KinderConnect Registration
Once you receive your DES Provider ID and verification code, you are ready to complete KinderConnect registration. Please use the guide and video below.
4. Sponsor Registration Information
After creating your account, set up KinderSign and/or KinderSmart so that Sponsors can record attendance. Please review the details for both in the panels below and select the method(s) that works best.
KinderSmart (Sponsors use their Personal Smartphones)
For Sponsors to begin entering attendance using their smartphones, you will need to provide a KinderSmart Registration Form for each individual Sponsor and print/download the Provider Mobile Sign In Sheet from your KinderConnect account. Follow the instructions below:

KinderSign (Sponsors use the Provider's Personal Tablet)
Sponsors can also enter attendance using a provider's personal tablet. If you will use a personal tablet, you must download the KinderSign App before proceeding to the tablet registration. For instructions on how to download the KinderSign app, click here.

5. Submitting Attendance to DES
Providers should review attendance entries throughout the month. Providers will need to correct, add absences or missed attendance, before submitting the attendance for payment. Attendance can be submitted once the monthly service period is completed.
